About Us
A&T Septic, Inc was established in 1997 by Aaron Thompson and Tim Kinney. They have served the West Central Minnesota area providing septic inspection, design and installation. In 2001, they purchased J&J Pumping, which was established in 1967. They continue to offer maintenance services through J&J Pumping. This allowed them to be a full-service septic company offering maintenance, inspection, design and installation services.
In 2022, A&T Septic sold portions of its installation business to former employees who started their own septic installation and excavation companies. The three companies continue to work closely together. This allowed Aaron and Tim to focus solely on designs and inspections and add water testing to their services.
Our Team
Aaron Thompson, Co-owner
Aaron has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Steven’s Point, Wisconsin with a Major in Watershed Management and a Minor in Soil Sciences. Prior to starting A&T Septic, he worked for the Renville County Soil and Water Conservation District as an Engineering Technician. He also served as the Septic Inspector for Renville County.
Tim Kinney, Co-owner
Tim has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of River Falls, Wisconsin, with a Major in Land Use Planning and a Minor in Soil Sciences. Prior to beginning A&T Septic and Excavating, he worked for the LeSuer County Natural Resources Conservation Service and was a District Conservationist for Renville County.
